Why CHEWZ Was Created
After years of experience working with aligner patients, we observed that many existing chewies were generic in design and offered little guidance on how or where to bite.
Common issues with traditional chewies include:

CHEWZ™ is a comfort and accessory device. It does not claim to diagnose, treat or alter orthodontic outcomes. Individual experiences may vary.
Vibration Guidance
When used with a compatible electric toothbrush, CHEWZ™ should be exposed to very low-level vibration only. This is approximately equivalent to the lowest vibration setting of mainstream sonic toothbrushes (around 10,000 rpm or less).
Use of vibration is recommended only if advised by your orthodontist, typically once per week or when changing to a new aligner if the aligner feels tight, or otherwise according to your orthodontist’s instructions.
CHEWZ™ is compatible with most slim, straight metal-shaft toothbrush pins, including common Philips Sonicare and Oral-B sonic heads. Compatibility should always be checked before use.
First Use Guidance
For initial use, it may be helpful to lightly moisten the toothbrush shaft with water or a small amount of neutral, food-safe lubricant to allow smooth insertion. Do not force insertion. Ensure the component is clean before and after use.
